Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Thursday announced the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) preliminary examination 2021 results. As many as 5296 candidates, including 1749 candidates cleared the preliminary examination and provisionally shortlisted for the Odisha Civil Services Main Written Examination 2021.

The candidates have been marked qualified on the basis of the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021 conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).

As per the latest OPSC notice, the main written examination is scheduled to be held tentatively in the month of February 2023. The detail programme of Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Main written examination 2021 shall be notified later.

As per OPSC, the Odisha Civil Service Examination is conducted in three phases- preliminary, main and personality test.

Around 58,241 applications were received for the OCS 2021 and out of which 29, 295 candidates including 10248 women candidates had appeared the preliminary examination which was conducted on October 16, 2022.

Earlier, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) had revised the vacancy position and upper age limit for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) examination 2021.

The Odisha Public Service Commission will now fill up 433 vacancies including 142 reserved for women instead of 405 (132-women) notified earlier. The corrigendum was published in January this year.
