OMC Recruitment: Walk-in for 81 posts; salary up to Rs 1.12 lakh

The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), a Gold category and largest State PSU in Mining Sector in the Country, has invited applications from candidates to apply for Mining Mate and other posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can appear for walk-in interviews on February 7 and 8, 2023.

OMC Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 81 posts

• Foreman: 10 posts

• Surveyor: 15 posts

• Mining Mate III: 56 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10th/Diploma in relevant discipline from a recognised Board/Institute.

Candidates belonging to domicile of Odisha only can appear.

Age Limit

The age of candidate should be between 18 years to 38 years as on January 1, 2023.

Pay Scale

Foreman & Surveyor

Starting Basic pay of Rs 35,400 (Cell No.1) in the Pay Scale of Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400 & other allowances in the Pay Level-9 in the Revised Scales of Pay, 2017.

Mining Mate III

Starting Basic pay of Rs 22,400 (Cell No.2) in the Pay Scale of Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100 & other allowances in the Pay Level-5 in the Revised Scales of Pay, 2017.

Selection Process

The selection will be made on the basis of career marking and performance in the walk-in interview considering the vacancies, percentage of reservations as well as requirements.

Interview Venue

The interview will be conducted at Community Centre, OMC Colony of Regional Office, Barbil, Dist- Keonjhar.
