The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has published the final selection list of the Combined Police Service Examination (CPSE)-2017.
A total of 208 candidates have been provisionally selected for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed) and Assistant Jailor while 10 candidates have been selected for the post of Station Officer (fire service).
The successful candidates of CPSE-2017 can check the final select list on the official website of OSSC-www.ossc.gov.in. They need to click on the link 'Final Select list for the Post of CPSE 2017' in the What's New section on the home page.

The Commission said the candidates have been selected on the basis of their performance in the Main Written Examination ,Viva Voce-cum-Psychological Test , Weightage marks obtained from NCC & Sports achievements(if any*).
"Inclusion of any name in the list however does not confer any right to appointment unless and until specific appointment order is issued by the Appointing Authority," the Commission clarified.
The OSSC has also shared the cut-off marks for different posts in different categories.
Through CPSE-2017, the OSSC will fill up 184 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police, 20 posts of SI of Police (Armed), 10 posts of Station Officer (Fire Service) & four posts of Assistant Jailor on contractual basis under the Home Department of Odisha.
The online applications for the posts were invited from suitable candidates from January 30, 2018 to February 28, 2018. The main examination for the recruitment drive was held on July 19 and 20, 2021 and a total of 547 candidates had cleared the main examination and shortlisted for viva-voce-cum-psychological test.
