The Odisha Coal and Power Limited (OCPL) has invited online applications to fill up vacancies of several permanent positions at its Mines office to share various challenging spectrum of responsibilities.
As per the advertisement, two posts of Senior Assistant Manager (Mining), three posts of Assistant Manager (Mining), one post each of Assistant Manager (Electrical), Senior Manager (Mechanical) and Additional General Manager (Civil/Infra) will be filled up through the recruitment drive.
While the online application submission process has commenced from October 9, the last date of submission of application is October 30, 2021 (5 pm).

Apart from the online application, applicants will have to send the hard copy of application along with requisite documents to Head (HR), Odisha Coal and Power Limited Zone-A, Ground floor, Fortune Towers, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha - 751023 by November 6, 2021 (5 pm).
How to Apply:
Candidates need to apply online in the career section of OCPL website (www.ocpl.org.in) from 10 am of October 9, 2021 to 5 pm of October 30, 2021. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
Essential Qualification:
Sr. Assistant Manager (Mining): Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent with First Class Coal Manager’s certificate of competency.
Assistant Manager (Mining): Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent with Second Class Coal manager’s certificate of competency.
Assistant Manager (Electrical): Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised Institute.
Senior Manager (Mechanical): Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute.
Additional General Manager (Civil/Infra): Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit for first three positions is 45 years while it is 50 years for the remaining two positions. Relaxation will be given to candidates as per government rules.
Scale of Pay:
Sr. Assistant Manager (Mining)- Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700
Assistant Manager (Mining)/ Assistant Manager (Electrical)- Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500
Senior Manager (Mechanical)- Rs 78,800 to Rs 2,09,200
Additional General Manager (Civil/Infra)- Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900
Besides basic pay, the selected candidates will get other allowances/ benefits like Dearness Allowance, Conveyance Expenses, House Rent Allowance, Medical Facilities for self & dependent family members, Gratuity, CMPF, etc. as per Rules of the Company.
Selection Process:
The assessment of shortlisted candidates applied against any post will be made through personal interview only.
Placement: The selected candidates will be taken under probation for a period of minimum one year. After successful completion of the probation period, the candidates shall be absorbed in the respective grades.
