North Eastern Railway has issued a notification for Apprentice positions.
Qualified candidates can submit their applications via the official NER website at ner.indianrailways.gov.in.
Applications commenced on June 12 and will continue until July 11, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Apprentice positions with North Eastern Railway, candidates must meet specific criteria.
They should have passed High School/10th with a minimum of 50% marks and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade by June 12, 2024, the date of the notification.
Additionally, candidates must be between 15 and 24 years old as of June 12, 2024.
Age relaxations are applicable: SC/ST candidates can avail a 5-year relaxation, OBC candidates can avail a 3-year relaxation, and physically handicapped (Divyang) candidates can avail up to 10 years of age relaxation.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a processing fee of Rs. 100. However, SC/ST/Divyang (PwBD)/Women candidates are exempt from paying this fee.
Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates will be based on a merit list, which will be prepared by averaging the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examinations. Equal weightage will be given to both components. Document Verification will take place in Gorakhpur, where selected candidates must present a copy of their online application, a Medical Certificate in the prescribed format, 04 passport-sized photographs, and all original certificates and testimonials for verification.
