The Department of Gender Studies, NCERT has invited online applications to recruit one Junior Project Fellows (JPF).

As per the notification, the apex institute will recruit on a temporary basis for the project titled, ‘Integration of Gender Perspective in NCERT Textbooks: A Review and Preparation of Guidelines for New Generation Textbooks.’

The last date for applying is October 27, 2021.

Details:

Junior Project Fellow: 1 Post

Age: Below 40 years (5 years relaxation in case of SC/ST and 3 years for OBC according to UGC guidelines).

Tenure: Up to March 31, 2022

Remuneration: Rs 25,000 per month for NET qualified candidates

Rs 20,000 per month for Non-NET qualified candidates

Qualification: Masters Degree in Science/Math/MCA or equivalent degree with minimum 55 percent marks or equivalent grade /CGPA (5 per cent relaxation in case of SC/ST candidates). Some qualification or experience related to the project title in Education, Women studies, Gender studies, tetxt books analysis.

Interested candidates who fulfil the above conditions may send their applications and also fill uploaded proforma on the Email- dgsncert@gmail.com of the Department of Gender Studies latest by October 27,2021.

In the notification, the NCERT has clarified that the fellowship is purely on a temporary basis and it will not confer on the candidates any claim for regular employment in NCERT. The candidates who have already worked as Junior Project Fellow in the Council for two years and more are not eligible to apply.
