IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2021: Notification For Research Associates Out, Check Last Date, Salary

The G.S Sanyal School of Telecommunication, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has invited applications to recruit research associates for a project on a temporary basis.

As per the notification, 14 Research Associates will be recruited for the project titled, ‘Next Generation Wireless Research and Standardization on 5G and Beyond(5GB).’

The deadline for applying for the posts is October 30, 2021.

Research Associate: 14 posts

Consolidated Compensation: Upto Rs.88000 (depending upon qualification & experience)

Department/School/Centre: G.S Sanyal School of Telecommunication

Qualifications: M.Tech in Signal Processing and/or communication with 3 years post M.tech experience and one SCI journal. OR PhD in Communication (Awarded or Thesis submitted or Synopsis delivered).

Relevant Experience: The candidates need to perform research & Development in Wireless Communication and Networking. One of the following domain knowledge is preferable.

1. PHY: DSP, Physical Layer aspects like OFDM, MIMO, Wireless Channel Model, Signal processing algorithm, 5G communications

2. MAC and Upper Layer: Wireless Communication Network, knowledge in graph theory, queuing theory, game theory

3. Programming skills: MATLAB, C/C++, Python (Desirable), Network Simulator like OMNET and/or NS3.
