NARL Recruitment 2023: Apply for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ and JRF posts

The National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) is currently accepting applications for the positions of Scientist/Engineer 'SD' and Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 14 posts

• Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: 1 post

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the post of Scientist/Engineer 'SD' should not exceed the age of 35, while the upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions is set at 28 years.

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply, candidates must have Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in relevant field from recognised University or Institute.

Pay Scale

The fellowship amount for Junior Research Fellows (JRF) is set at Rs 37,000 per month for the initial two years and increases to Rs 42,000 per month for the subsequent years. 

As for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ positions, the basic pay stands at Rs 67,700 per month in Level 11 (Rs 67,700 – Rs 2,08,700), along with additional allowances such as Travel Allowance (TA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per applicable regulations.
