Age Limit
Age limit for the posts of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant is 18 to 27 years
Age limit for the posts of Postman is 18 to 27 years
Age limit for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff is 18 to 25 years
Educational Qualification
Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: The candidates must have passed Class12 or equivalent examination. The candidate will be required to furnish a certificate of basic computer training before the issuance of an appointment letter.
Postman (PM): The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination. The applicants must have the knowledge of local language, Marathi in respect of Maharashtra State and Konkani in respect of Goa State and must have studied the local language as a subject for at least up to Class 10. Candidates will be required to furnish a certificate of basic computer training before the issuance of an appointment letter. The candidates should have a valid license of a two-wheeler or light motor vehicle.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): The candidates must have passed Class 10 and should have knowledge of working on computer. S/he must have the knowledge of the local language, Marathi in respect of Maharashtra State and Konkani in respect of Goa State and must have studied the local language as a subject at least up to Class 10.
Sports Qualification- Eligibility For Consideration
Sports Eligibility for the post of /Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant/Postman/Multi-Tasking Staff:
- Sportsperson who have represented a State or the country in the national or international competition in any of the games mentioned in the official notification.
- Sportsperson who have represented their university in the inter-university tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards in any of the games listed in the official notification.
- Sportsperson who have represented the State Schools Teams in the national sports/games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports mentioned in the official notification.
- Sportsperson who have been awarded National Awards in physical efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be made on educational and Sports qualification subject to fulfilment of prescribed conditions.
Application fee: The candidates will have to pay Rs 200 online as application fee. Woman candidates, transgender woman candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) are exempted from payment of fees.

Step 1: Visit the official website of India Post Sports Quota at dopsportsrecruitment.in
Step 2: On the homepage click on the registration tab and fill in all the required details.
Step 3: Pay the application fee. The application fee can be paid either through online in the portal or at any Head post office.
Step 4: Fill the application form by providing required details.
Step 5: Keep the hard copy of application form for future reference.
