India Post has come up with a notification for recruitment of meritorious sports persons in the department of posts in the cadre of postal assistants/sorting assistant postman and multi-tasking staff.
Application are invited from meritorious Sportspersons for appointment as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff against the vacancies of Direct Quota reserved for Sports Quota Recruitment in Rajasthan Postal Circle, Jaipur, read the official notification.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the India Post recruitment till December 6, 2021.

Age Limit: Candidates applying need to have attained 18 years of age but not more than 27 years.
Selection Criteria:
First Preference: Candidate who have represented the country in an International competition with the clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Second Preference: Candidate who has represented a State/Union Territory in the Senior or Junior Level National Championship organised by the National Sports Federations recognised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports or National Games organised by the Indian Olympic Association and have won medals or position up to third place.
Between the candidates participating in Senior and Junior National Championship/games the candidates having participated and won the medal in Senior National Championship gets preference.
Third Preference: Candidates who have represented a University in an Inter-University Competition conducted by Association of Indian Universities/Inter-University Sports Board and have won medals or position up to third place in finals.
