IGNOU Recruitment 2021: Fresh Vacancies Announced, Salary Up To Rs 2L; Check Details

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment to multiple posts for its Regional Centres in the North-Eastern States, Jammu & Kashmir (Srinagar) and Port Blair (Andaman & Nicobar).

As per the IGNOU notification, the posts of Regional Directors and Assistant Regional Directors in these Regional Centres will be filled on deputation basis.

The appointment on deputation shall be through all India advertisement and selection by the duly constituted Selection Committees as per the IGNOU Act and Statutes read with UGC Regulations 2018 as per standard deputation terms and conditions of the Department of Personnel & Training, Govt of India, the notification read.

Pay Scale in the 7th CPC Pay matrix: Level 13A (Rs. 1, 31, 400- 2,17,100)

Regional Director (Srinagar in J&K): 1 at Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir

Pay Scale: Level 13A (Rs. 1, 31, 400- 2,17, 100)

Regional Director (Port Blair): 1 at Port Blair in Andaman & Nicobar

Pay Scale : Level 13A (Rs. 1,31,400- 2,17,100)

Assistant Regional Director (North-East Region): 3 for North-Eastern Region

Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 57,700- 1,82, 400)

Assistant Regional Director (Srinagar in J&K): 1 at Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir

Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 57,700- 1, 82,400)

Assistant Regional Director (Port Blair): 1 at Port Blair in Andaman & Nicobar

Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 57,700- 1, 82,400)

Other Details:

Age Limit: Preferably below 55 Years of Age

Period of Deputation: The Deputation will be initially for a period of 2 years. Other allowances and benefits including Deputation Allowance shall be as applicable to the Central Government employees and be governed by the relevant rules as notified by the Government of India from time to time. The terms and conditions of deputation shall be as per Govt of India, Department of Personnel & Training norms.

The last date for submission of online application is 15.09.2021 or 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News, whichever is later.
