As many as 165 candidates have qualified for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2021, the result of which was announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Monday.

The result has been made available on the official website of the Commission upsc.gov.in. This year, the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2021 was conducted by the UPSC on July 17 and 18, 2021.

Of the total 165 candidates, 42 have been declared qualified for the service of Hydro Geologist, 18 for Geophysicist, and 105 for Chemist/ Chemical. The successful candidates will now appear for the interview or personality test.

In accordance with the Rules of examination, the successful candidates are now required to fill up the Detailed Application Form (DAF) which will be available on the Commission’s Website upsconline.nic.in and submit the same online along with the scanned copies of certificates. The DAF will be available during the period from August 24 to September 7 till 6 pm.

Important instructions regarding filling up of the DAF and submitting the same online to the Commission will also be available on the website. 

“Schedule of Interviews of candidates, who have qualified for the Personality Test will be published in due course of time on the Commission’s Website. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates. The candidates are advised to check their e-mail also for further information,” a notification read.
