IAS Tine Dabi has been in the limelight ever since she grabbed the number one spot in the UPSC Civil Services Examinations in 2015. From her marriage to office work, the dynamic officer has been quite popular on the internet and also has been an inspiration for many IAS aspirants.

Tina Dabi now yet again has attracted attention after her mark sheet for UPSC exams went viral recently. The mark sheet shows that Dabi scored 1063 points overall as a result of which she earned AIR number one position.

The young IAS officer also created history by becoming the first SC woman candidate to pass the UPSC exam with flying colours. Interestingly, she passed this difficult exam on the first attempt.

The mark sheet shows that the IAS officer scored 145 in essay writing, 299 for her elective subject which is political science, 424 for general studies, and 195 in her interview. During her earlier interviews, Tina Dabi had said that she relied on newspapers for day-to-day news and to stay updated about current events, and also for developing general knowledge skills.

She has inspired and advised UPSC aspirants time and again and has always asked them to choose the optional subject wisely. According to Tina, the elective courses can make a big impact on the final score of the IAS exams, and hence students must select topics that are familiar to them and are of interest to them.

Tina Dabi was born in Bhopal and completed her education in Delhi. Currently, she is working as the DM of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Apart from her career, Tina’s personal life has also been discussed a lot in the media. Her second marriage to Pradeep Gawande was a hot topic of discussion because Pradeep is 13 years older than Tina. Before that, she was married to IAS officer Athar Aamir Khan who now is married to Dr. Mehreen Qazi.
