Jaisalmer collector and 2015 UPSC topper Tina Dabi recently organised a career counselling workshop for girl students of the district under the Jaisan Shakti (Ladies First) programme.

Girl students from several schools participated and interacted with the experts in the workshop which was organised at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Jaisalmer.

Speaking to the students at the workshop, Dabi said struggle and dedication are necessary and important for every success and that’s why no student should be scared of struggle and try to give their 100 percent.

She further added how today’s era is an era of competition. She suggested that every student should keep more than one option for their career and work hard to achieve it.

Dabi also said that every subject has scope for a great career option. So, every girl student should be serious about her career and work diligently in whatever field they want to make a future in.

According to a media report, Tina Dai, the Jaisalmer district collector, also interacted with girl students at the workshop and answered to their questions.

When one of the students questioned Tina that as a youth icon of India what is her motivation, the IAS officer replied that the affection she receives from the public motivates her to work with full dedication.

Other girl students asked if IAS preparation can be done while preparing for class 12? How many hours of studies are required to become an IAS? How to prepare to become a commercial pilot? And so on.

Experts at the event responded to the questions asked by the students and kept the workshop interactive and motivational.
