The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications to fill up 151 vacancies for the post of deputy director in Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Out of the 151 vacancies, 66 are reserved for UR candidates, 23 for SC candidates, 9 for ST, 38 for OBC, 15 for EWS and 4 for PwBD candidates.
The last date for submission of online recruitment application through UPSC website is September 2, 2021. As per the official UPSC notification, the post is permanent and eligible candidates will be entitled for a Pay Scale Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), Group ‘A’, (Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted).
Here are the other details:
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized university. Experience: Three years’ experience of Administration or Accounts or Marketing or Public Relation or Insurance or Revenue or Tax related matters in a Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body.
Desirable: (i) Qualified Subordinate Accounts Services, or passed Institute of Costs and Works Accounts or Master of Business Administration (Finance), or a Degree in Law.
(ii) Experience in matters relating to Social Insurance or Labour Laws. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Age: 35 years The age limit shown against all items is the normal age limit and the age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. SC/ST/OBC candidates have to produce a caste certificate in prescribed proforma.
Age limit is also relaxable for Employees' State Insurance Corporation up to 5 years. A Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT)/Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the candidates for Interview for recruitment to the post of Deputy Director shall be conducted by the UPSC. However, the date of CBRT/RT will be decided by the Commission and intimated to the candidates in subsequent phases.
