The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha has announced the dates of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the recruitment of contractual Hindi, Sanskrit and Physical Education Teachers.
According to a notification issued by the DSE, the examination for 4619 posts will be conducted on October 4 and 5, 2021.
“Candidates who have applied for recruitment to the posts of contractual Hindi, Sanskrit and Physical Education Teachers are hereby informed that the Computer Based Test for the recruitment shall be held on 04.10.2021 and 05.10.2021,” the DSE notification read.

The CBT for the posts of Hindi Teacher will be held on October 4, 2021 from 10 am to 12.30 pm while aspirants for Sanskrit teachers will appear for the test from 2.30 pm to 5 pm on the same day.
Similarly, the test for Physical Education Teacher will be conducted on October 5, 2021 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Differently-abled candidates will be given 20 minutes extra time per hour.
The DSE said the admit cards for the examination will be made available on the official website https://dseodisha.in from September 25 onwards.
“The Admit Cards shall be generated by system (computer) only in favour of candidates found eligible for admission to the examination. Candidates can download the admit cards through their registered log-in from the website https://dseodisha.in/,” the notification added.
The DSE said admit cards will not be sent by any other mode and candidates are required to take print out of the admit card and produce it for admission at the test centres.
The directorate said the mock test for all eligible candidates will be released on September 28 (10 am onwards).
Candidates have been asked to report at the examination centres one hour before the commencement of the examination. They have been asked to dial 7406711092 for any guidance for downloading admit cards.
