The police administration has made an elaborate arrangement for the Deva Snana Purnima, which is falling on June 22.
Briefing journalists in a press meet, Puri SP Pinak Mishra said, “Four SP rank officers, 12 Additional SP rank officers and over 35 inspectors have been deployed. Besides, we have requisitioned for 70 platoon forces.”

“It has been noticed that the number of devotees has increased. Keeping this in view, we have also laid emphasis on ancillary facilities like sprinkling of water from fire engines, deployment of ambulances, setting up of barricades, drinking water distribution and engagement of volunteers,” said Mishra.
“For the timely observance of rituals, we are in touch with the district and temple administration,” he added.
