Zeenat Aman is one of the biggest Bollywood fashion icons who during the 70s and early 80s became a trendsetter with her revealing Western outfits and bold dresses. Zeenat was the second runner-up at the Filmfare Miss India pageant and went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific International title in 1970. Such was the craze for her beauty and dressing style that she was nicknamed “First Princess.”
Coming to today’s time it is Uorfi Javed who has been hogging the limelight for more than a year for her somewhat weird and revealing fashion sense. The television star, who has received recognition more for her street-side everyday fashion than for her work in the entertainment industry, is currently very much popular among the youth. After facing a lot of backlash (which she continues to face even now) leading fashion designers from the industry are now giving her the attention and platform that they believe she deserves.
Last month, the famous designer duo of Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla dressed Uorfi in their dresses and said that there is a lot more to Uorfi than that meets the eye. The duo said that it was their way of acknowledging her courage.
