YRF’s Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif in the lead will hit the theaters in November 2023. While Salman and Katrina are reprising their roles of Tiger and Zoya for the third time, Emraan Hashmi has joined the banner for the first time as the lead antagonist. The first look of Emraan has not created much of a buzz. Certainly, the main expectations are from Salman and Katrina, but a dashing and menacing antagonist also brings the fight between hero and villain on an equal platform and makes it more interesting.
In that department, Emraan has a lot to prove because to date YRF has introduced some iconic villains through their action movies and hence comparisons are bound to happen.

Villains from Dhoom
Dhoom is one of the earliest and most successful action franchises from YRF which was led by Abhishek Bachchan and supported by Uday Chopra. To date, three movies have been released from Dhoom franchise, and in each film, the villains have been very dashing, smart, and at par with the hero. The first movie had John Abraham playing the antagonist. The handsome, sauve John wowed millions of girls with his dimples and charisma and of course, who can forget his biking and actions?
Dhoom 2 by far is the best movie from the franchise and not surprisingly so as Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Ra Bachchan played lead antagonists in it. Duggu as usual was the epitome of a Greek God and his shirtless avatar in the title song and strong chemistry and lip-lock with Ash were the highlights making Abhishek relegated into the background.
Ditto in Dhoom 3 where Aamir Khan played a double role as antagonist and once again the villain overpowered the hero on the screen.
Tiger, War, Pathaan
In Ek Tha Tiger, the first movie from YRF’s spy universe Katrina Kaif plays Zoya, an ISI agent along with actor Gavie Chahal who portrays Abrar, the senior of Kats at ISI. Tiger Zinda Hai was the second movie from the Spy Universe and Tiger franchise in which Sajjad Delafrooz played the lead villain- Abu Usman.

John Abraham returned to YRF as the lead antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone ’s Pathaan. He was fairly impressive. Similarly in War Tiger Shroff played a dual role and one was that of villain Saurabh. Tiger matched Hrithik Roshan in looks, dancing, and action and gave a tough competition to the hero.
So it proves that YRF has introduced some iconic villains through its action movies and Emraan Hashmi will have to prove his prowess in Tiger 3 to join the legacy of Hrithik, Aamir Khan, John Abraham, and Tiger Shroff
