Deepika Padukone unveils ferocious look from her upcoming action-packed role in 'Singham Again'

Deepika Padukone on Sunday unveiled her ferocious cop look from Rohit Shetty's much-awaited film, ‘Singham Again.’ She unveiled her character and her initial look in a post on social media.

On her official Instagram account, Deepika shared two photos donning a police uniform, radiating strength and resolve as she faces an adversary. She confidently wields a firearm.

In the poster, she showcases her beauty with a captivating yet intense demeanour where the gun can be seen in the villain's mouth.

She captioned her post with, "Introducing…Shakti Shetty! #SinghamAgain."

Within minutes, her husband- actor Ranveer Singh commented with several fire emojis. He wrote, "This will set things on fire." 

Renowned for his cinematic cop universe, Director Rohit Shetty warmly embraced Deepika as the first female cop, Lady Singham.

He shared this moment in a three-part Instagram series, combining two in a BGM (Background Music) style, and one as a regular post on his Instagram.

In honour of Navratri, Rohit unveiled Deepika's first look photos and wrote, "Naari sita ka bhi roop hai aur durga ka bhi... meet the most brutal and violent officer of our cop universe… shakti shetty... my lady singham… Deepika Padukone."

'Singham Again' shooting has commenced and is all set for a theatrical release in August 2024, as per the buzz in the media.
