Rocking Star Yash has once again emerged as a guardian angel and showed his humane side by extending help to KGF actor Harish Roy, who is battling thyroid cancer.

Harish, who portrayed the character of Khasim Chacha in KGF series, is battling with Stage-IV thyroid cancer. It was more disturbing for all when Harish said that he was struggling financially and was unable to arrange funds for his treatment.

A video went viral in which Harish was seen pleading for financial assistance.

Meanwhile, fans pinned high hopes on the KGF team and especially Rocky Bhai aka Yash, with whom Harish shared a vital relationship in the KGF series, for financial aid for his treatment.

Meeting the expectations of all, Yash has finally stepped in to help Harish financially for cancer treatment.

As reported in a local newspaper, Yash has given Rs 40 lakh to Harish for his treatment. Moreover, he has also promised to take care of his family.

Earlier in a viral video, Harish revealed about his medical condition and said, "I have been suffering from cancer for three years now. There is a reason I had a long beard when performing in KGF. It was to cover the swelling in my neck that this disease has caused."

Following the reports, many actors, producers, and directors from the Sandalwood industry stepped forward and extended financial help to Harish. Even certain reports suggested that Harish is currently undergoing treatment at Kidwai hospital in Delhi and underwent lung surgery. However, the reports claimed that the doctors believe that he is in need of more treatment as the medicine alone costs around Rs 3 lakh per month.

Well, now that wish of fans has been fulfilled by Rocky Bhai, the love and respect for their matinee idol will certainly amplify.
