Yash and Nayanthara silently start Toxic shoot; to fly off to London for marathon schedule

Yash and Nayanthara have teamed up for Geetu Mohandas’ Toxic. The Lady Superstar is all set to play the sister of the KGF actor while Kiara Advani has been roped in to play his love interest. Now there are reports that both Yash and Nayanthara have already started shooting for Toxic in India.

Pinkvilla has said, “Toxic went on floors with Yash and Nayanthara's schedule in India. This brief stint at real locations in India will be followed by a marathon schedule in London. Geetu Mohandas has planned 200 days of shoot for Toxic, out of which 150-day schedule will be done in and around London. The entire team will be off to the UK soon, and can shoot some of the most pivotal scenes of Toxic in there.”

Yash plays the role of a don with style and swag. However, this role will completely differ from Rockybhai in KGF as the treatment will differ entirely. Yash’s character in Toxic is that of an underworld Don but the character will have an international and contemporary tone. The source said, “The core conflict of Toxic and the treatment is on the lines of the cult international series, Peaky Blinder.”

Huma Qureshi to play antagonist in Toxic

The movie is a gangster-based drama and Huma Qureshi plays the negative character. It is scheduled to be released on April 10 2025 which also marks three years of release for KGF2. According to the source, “Huma will be joined by some other actors too in the negative turn. It’s a rich ensemble of actors from across the country and the idea of Toxic Team is to provide an uncompromised cinematic experience.”

It would be interesting to watch the clash between Yash and Nayanthara on one side and Huma and the gang on the other end. The combination of the KGF actor with the Southern superstar has already garnered a lot of interest about the movie among the fans.
