Why did the 'Wanted' girl Ayesha Takia leave Bollywood?

Ayesha Takia, known for her role in Salman Khan ’s big hit Wanted movie, turns a year older today. The beautiful and glamourous actress had everything going her way when she suddenly got married to a hotelier and decided to quit the industry. Ayesha's decision left many of her fans upset. Incidentally, when Ayesha left the industry, she was already working with some leading actors and also left a few producers in the lurch.

Even though Ayesha served notice to all the filmmakers with whom she had signed projects, the producers were reportedly unhappy because their projects were left heroine-less. It was the girl next door, chulbul and innocent charm that Ayesha exuded on the screen which had increased her demand.

During those times most actresses like Amrita Arora, Kareena Kapoor , and so many others were eager to look glamourous which was why it created a space for actresses like Ayesha who would fit the bill of being a chulbul and simple girl but also looked beautiful and even acted well. But why did Ayesha decide to make an exit from acting when she could have achieved more success in Bollywood?

Reportedly, Ayesha's marriage to the hotelier, Farhan Azmi the son of famous politician Abu Azmi made her take an exit from Bollywood. She soon became a mother to a boy Mikhail. After enjoying marital bliss and motherhood for a few years, Ayesha was rumoured to be planning a comeback in Bollywood. However, things changed drastically in the past few years when she left the film industry. New girls had entered the business, the demands and requirements had changed and the expectations had become quite high.

It was rumoured that Ayesha had undergone plastic surgery multiple times and even had started attending Bollywood parties to give a hint that she wanted to stage a comeback. However, it seems Ayesha Takia missed the bus as no one showed any interest in giving her a role in movies.
