When SRK slammed Aamir Khan saying, 'He should stick to his job and... Watch

Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are the biggest superstars of Bollywood. While today they are on cordial terms and good friends, a decade ago things were quite sour between the superstars and it was only Salman Khan who had a good rapport with both SRK and Aamir at one time.

Thankfully, equations have improved between all the three Khans in the last few years but a few videos that surfaced on social media recently reveal the reason behind the feud between Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

When Aamir Khan targeted SRK for his PR tactics

Aamir Khan was quite vocal about how Shah Rukh Khan used his PR and marketing tactics to stay in the limelight. More than a decade ago, the Lagaan actor repeatedly said that SRK knew how to use PR tactics and marketing to gain success and how to handle the media in his favour. The rivalry between these two stars was at its peak with Aamir Khan even saying, “Shah Rukh is licking my feet” and adding that Shah Rukh is the name of his dog.

Even in those days, fans of SRK slammed the Dangal actor for his insecurities and blunt comments on the Badshah.

Shah Rukh Khan had a savage reply to Aamir’s criticism

After Aamir’s take on SRK’s PR tactics, the latter made it evident that he was upset with such comments and during an interview said, “I think he should talk about himself. Not about me. I think he should restrict it to praising his films, praising himself and not talking about my PR and marketing.”

The King Khan got savage saying, “What he does I don’t question. He does wonderful. I think I have always praised and said that he is really a fantastic actor. He does his job very well. I don’t think he should get into the territory of what I do because he does not know me well enough to comment on that and I don’t like it.”

Shah Rukh Khan also mentioned Aamir naming his dog on his name saying, “He named a dog after me. I think okay, that’s a joke. Beyond that, he should restrict himself. I also wonder why I pry on his mind so much. He should do his job, work hard, continue what he does, and be happy.”
