When Manisha Koirala discussed how she ended with wrong people in relationship; wanted someone passionate as partner

Manisha Koirala returned to the limelight with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi a few months ago. The OTT release was well received and Manisha’s work as Mallikajaan was also highly appreciated. She is one of the very few actresses in Bollywood who worked with some big stars and directors but could not maintain the career graph mostly due to her troublesome relationships and alcohol addiction.

During one of her earlier interviews, Manisha Koirala who is a cancer survivor opened up about how being in the wrong relationship affected her and whether she is looking for a new romance in her life. Talking about her book Healed and what she has written in it the actress said, “If you read my book Healed I have solely scrutinised why I have fallen for the wrong men. Because I am like why I am doing this again and again? It can’t be that the guy is wrong. There is something wrong with me like getting attracted to who is the most troubled person in the room. There I go.”

That is why she intends to first fix what is bothering her and whatever the conditioning inside her is that is leading her to get involved with people who are wrong for her. She has been single for more than 6 years and at that time was not in the mood to start a new relationship.

“Because I feel there is a lot of work that I need to do with myself. And also when you start being single and walking along and enjoying that freedom ..but at some point I would like to have a good connection where I feel both accept and are honest to where we are at." said Manisha Koirala . She even said that she wants to be with someone who has dreams and vision and it need not be a materialistic dream.

The actress said that she is a passionate person and hence would like her partner to be passionate about something. She also said that the earlier parameters of tall, dark, handsome, and rich are not a priority and now she is looking for something that is beyond that.
