When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shut reporter with her reply on exploring nudity

Ponniyin Selvan 1 movie reviews are out with fans giving a thumbs up to the magnum opus of Mani Ratnam. Apart from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the movie features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Trisha in key roles. 

In Ponniyin Selvan 1, the movie based on the novel of the same name by Kalki Krishnamurthy which was published in 1955, Aishwarya Rai has been featured as Nandini, a revenge-seeking princess. 

Fans have been praising Aishwarya Rai for her stellar performance in the movie and also thanked Mani Ratnam for bringing out the best in the actress.

Though the former Miss World has less screen time and dialogues in PS 1, she seems to have left a lasting impact on the fans with her performance.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan often outperforms others in such period dramas and fans even want her in such roles. However, there were times when she was asked about exploring nudity.

In once such instance, in an interview, Aishwarya was asked by a journalist if she would like to explore nudity on the silver screen. To this, she had candidly said, "I have never, ever, explored and am not interested in exploring nudity on celluloid."

However, the journalist didn't stop there and tried to extract an answer from the actress. Aishwarya then shut him by giving a befitting reply. She said, "I feel I'm talking to my gynae. I mean, who am I talking to? You're a journalist, brother, stick to that."
