Helmer Ayan Mukerji , Bollywood superstar, and Tollywood Young Tiger Jr NTR have been hitting the headlines with the latest announcements of War 2. Since War 2 was officially inducted into YRF’s Spy Universe, excitement among movie lovers skyrocketed.
Following War 2 announcement, Ayan being roped in as the helmer came as a surprise for all. Later, Jr NTR coming on board fuelled excitement among movie lovers. While all eyes are on updates of War 2, a recent buzz stunned everyone.

As per the recent buzz, Ayan is offered a whopping Rs 30 crore as fees to direct the War sequel.
Such buzz left everyone stunned. However, the truth seems to be something else. The latest development has quashed the rumors involving Ayan.
Box Office World quoted a close source to the production house (YRF) as saying, “YRF doesn’t believe in burdening the project with astronomical cost form beginning rather everyone becomes stakeholder and shares the profits. Ayan will be paid handsomely but Rs 32 crores fixed fee is untrue”
Furthermore, the source was quoted as saying, ““The minute Aditya Chopra saw Brahmastra, he knew that Ayan had the potential to direct a stylish action film. He made an offer to Ayan and the director was more than happy to enter the YRF Spy Universe.”
If reports are anything to go by, War 2 will go on floors by November 2023 and will be completed in a year, if everything falls into place at the right time.

The makers have targets to release War 2 by the end of 2024 or early 2025. After Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, it will be the sixth film under YRF Spy Universe. The film will continue from the end of Tiger 3 which will eventually lead to the epic face-off between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan.
