The Vaccine War is the first Indian Bio-science movie that shows in depth how despite the common global belief that “India can’t do it” the Indian scientists not only proved their capability to come up with the vaccine in record time but it was highly effective in saving millions of lives.

The scientists worked day and night so that the COVID-19 threat could be handled effectively and once the vaccine was found to be effective it was used to save millions of lives in other countries as well.

Produced under Pallavi Joshi’s “I am Buddha” banner the movie digs deeper into the facts and questions that the Indian scientists faced.

Questions such as “Is this virus formed with natural mutation or made in the lab with reverse engineering” plagued the scientists when the pandemic was at its peak. Such controversial questions are also discussed in The Vaccine War. Based on the true struggles of scientists who worked as a team to prepare the vaccine, it gives glimpses into those times when the vaccine was the only hope for the entire humanity to survive.

The Vaccine War has an impressive star cast led by veteran actors Nana Patekar , Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, and Raima Sen. Apart from the struggle to prepare an indigenous vaccine, the scientists also faced tough competition from those who did not believe that Indians had the ability to do it.
