Vijay Deverakonda finally introduces ‘The Girlfriend’ Rashmika Mandanna in poetic narration

National crush Rashmika Mandanna has been hogging a lot of limelight for her rumoured relationship with Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda. The alleged lovebirds have been hitting the headlines ever since they appeared together in blockbuster movies ‘Dear Comrade’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’.

Meanwhile, Vijay has finally introduced ‘The Girlfriend’ Rashmika Mandanna in a poetic narration. Well, we are talking about Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming movie ‘The Girlfriend’. The bubbly actress is currently basking high on the success of Pushpa 2. 

Apart from Pushpa 2, she is also gearing up for her upcoming movie, The Girlfriend, which also stars Dheekshith Shetty and Koushik Mahata. Recently, the makers released the teaser of the movie, and fans were taken aback.

The teaser shows Vijay Deverakonda sharing a poetic narration about Rashmika Mandanna’s character in the movie. While fans love Deverakonda’s voiceover, Rashmika claimed that she was taken by surprise when she found out that the makers had Vijay’s voice in the teaser cut.

“This is an interesting thing because, firstly he is not in the film. He has like supported us with his voice, but what was interesting is that they cut this teaser out for my birthday. I didn’t know that he gave a voiceover. For me, it was a surprise,” Rashmika quipped.

She further claimed that Vijay’s voice made the 1-minute and 34-second teaser more beautiful.

Meanwhile, the female-centric film will see Rashmika in the lead role, which is expected to be a romantic drama. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film also stars Rao Ramesh, Rohini, and many others in key supporting roles.

Apart from ‘The Girlfriend’, Rashmika also has superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’.
