The buzz surrounding Tollywood stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s alleged romance has kept fans guessing for quite some time. Despite their efforts to keep their relationship status private, their undeniable on-screen and off-screen chemistry has often sparked speculations among fans and media alike.

Their captivating performances in movies like ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’ have garnered immense love from the audience.

However, since their last collaboration in ‘Dear Comrade’ in 2019, fans have eagerly awaited news of their reunion on the silver screen. And now, it appears that their wish might soon become a reality.

Director Rahul Sankrityan of ‘Taxiwala’ fame is now crafting a period film set in the Rayalaseema region of Kurnool, with his debut film hero, Vijay Deverakonda, as the lead actor.

According to a Glute report, as Rashmika Mandanna's previous success in portraying the character of Srivalli in ‘Pushpa’, was also set in the Rayalaseema region, the director is confident she will once again deliver a memorable performance in his movie.

According to the report, sources close to director suggest she might join hands with Vijay Deverakonda on screen again.

As rumours circulate about Rashoo gearing up to reprise another Rayalaseema-based role, possibly opposite Vijay Deverakonda, fans eagerly await her return as Srivalli in the second instalment of ‘Pushpa’.

Meanwhile, Rashmika has films like 'Chhava', ‘The Girlfriend’, ‘Kubera’, and ‘Sikandar’ in her kitty. Along with a couple of Bollywood projects, she also is active in South. Vijay Deverakonda, on the other hand, is filming for #VD12 with Gowtham Tinnanuri. Recently, his special appearance as Arjuna in Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD, left everyone shocked and thrilled. Fans also speculate that Vijay might have a major role in the sequel of the blockbuster Sci-fi flick.
