Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif collab may happen soon? Kabir Khan talks about ideas in pipeline

Kabir Khan is currently in the news because his Setara, a short story in the My Melbourne anthology, is all set to release today. The filmmaker known for delivering blockbuster movies like Bajrangi Bhaijan and Ek Tha Tiger has not announced any major movie yet. It is a known fact that he is very close to Katrina Kaif , and that is why fans are expecting him to unite the real-life couple on the big screen sometime soon.

Vicky Kaushal is like a family- Kabir Khan

Recently during an interview when the 83 director was asked about the possibility of collaborating with Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, he hinted that the rumours are not entirely wrong. Kabir Khan said, “Vicky is one of the finest actors that we have. He’s family to me. I’m extremely close to both Vicky and Katrina. So, I would love to work with him. We as directors and actors, keep discussing ideas. There’s nothing concrete right now that can make me say that yes, we’re doing something together. But yes, I’ve been speaking to him."

But that is not all.

Kabir Khan is ideating with Salman Khan, Kartik Aaryan

The famous filmmaker revealed that he is not only discussing ideas with Vicky Kaushal but also with other actors including Kartik Aaryan and Salman Khan. So how long will it take him to announce a new movie? Regarding a new project, Kabir Khan said that he is at present in the process of working on different ideas which he finds an all-consuming experience.

The director said that he has a couple of ideas in the pipeline but all of them are in the development stage. He will be taking 6 to 7 months off before jumping into the production phase because once the production starts there is hardly any time to develop the story.

That is why at present Kabir Khan is in the phase of developing stories and once he is confident about a particular story he may announce his new film.
