Maha Kumbh Mela is at its peak in Prayagraj. Despite the stampede that killed many people a few days ago, the excitement and enthusiasm behind attending this Mela has not diminished a bit.

Maha Kumbh Mela is at its peak in Prayagraj. Despite the stampede that killed many people a few days ago, the excitement and enthusiasm behind attending this spiritual confluence of Hindus, where Ganga, Jamuna, and Saraswati meet to form Triveni Sangam, have not diminished a bit. Conversely, this Kumbh Mela is significant for the attendance of Naga Sadhus and other major saints from all over the country, mostly revered by Hindus.

However, this year devotees from all religions have come to Prayagraj to take the holy dip as it is for the first time in 144 years that 7 planets are aligned in a row which is why it is called Maha Kumbh . Even Bollywood celebrities are not behind. Irrespective of their religious beliefs most of these celebrities have come to Prayagraj to take a dip.

Kabir Khan, Remo D’s Souza take a dip at Prayagraj

Famous choreographer and director Remo D’Souza was seen with his wife and family at Prayagraj a few days ago. He also attended an akhada of one of the revered saints and took blessings despite being a non-Hindu. Similarly, Kabir Khan, the famous director of Chak De and Ek Tha Tiger also was seen at the Kumbh Mela 2025.

Mamta Kulkarni took sanyas at Prayagraj

The unexpected presence of Mamta Kulkarni at the Maha Kumbh Mela became a big surprise when she was appointed the Mahamandleshwar of a Kinnar Akhada. Before starting her spiritual journey, the Bollywood actress of the 90s completed the ritual of pind daan at the Triveni Sangam.

Arun Govil, Gautam Adani, Hema Malini attend Maha Kumbh

Ramayana fame and current BJP MP Arun Govil, veteran Bollywood superstar Hema Malini , and famous industrialist Gautam Adani also were seen taking a dip at the Triveni Sangam. Milind Soman too was spotted taking the holy dip with his wife a day ago.

Other famous people who were also cited at Prayagraj were Sudha Murthy, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan, Steve Jobs’ wife Lauren Powell Jobs, and others. The presence of all these famous people at the Maha Kumbh 2025 has added more hype to this event.
