Twist of fate! Emraan Hashmi suggested Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif to dump Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, otherwise referred to as the ‘Serial Kisser’ or ‘The Kissing King of Bollywood’ made his debut in 2003 in Footpath, which also starred Aftab Shivdasani, Bipasha Basu, Irrfan Khan and Rahul Dev. He made it to the headlines for his kissing scenes and sensual songs in Murder and several other movies. 

Though in his career of 20 years, he has worked in over 46 movies, with several super hit movies, he has failed to register himself in the A-list of Bollywood actors.

However, he has successfully earned a loyal fan base for his versatility in different movies. Though several movies of the actor in a row have bombed at the box office including Selfiee , fans are highly hopeful of Tiger 3 and his antagonist character. 

Fans are well aware that Emraan is the nephew of renowned filmmakers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt is the actor’s cousin, who got married to Ranbir Kapoor and gave birth to a baby girl, Raha.

Movie buffs are well aware that Alia had a secret crush on Ranbir which she revealed during a chat session on Koffee With Karan. Even it is well known that Ranbir, before being in a relationship with Alia, was in a relationship with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif.

However, did you know who suggested Deepika and Katrina to dump Ranbir?

Emraan admitted to suggesting Deepika and Katrina to end their romantic relationships with Ranbir. During his debut on Koffee with Karan Season 4 in 2014 with his uncle Mahesh Bhatt, Emraan went candid and made some sarcastic comments about Ranbir. 

During the popular rapid-fire round, Karan quizzed if he had any advice for stars like Ranbir, Katrina and Deepika. 

To this Emraan, known for being blunt and witty, suggested Ranbir stop playing ladies by saying, “Stop laying the ladies’ man stereotype. The press wants it more than you.”

Further, responding about Deepika and Katrina, he advised both actresses to “lose him.” With his witty reply, he clearly indicated that the ladies should dump Ranbir, whom they dated. 

Well, both Deepika and Katrina broke up with Ranbir and years later, the Brahmastra actor tied the nuptial knot with Emraan’s cousin. Isn’t this an interesting twist of fate!
