OTT platforms rocked 2022. Despite the fact that the theaters opened to their full capacity in the mid of last year, people continued to watch content on the OTT, and not surprisingly, the number of subscriptions for the digital platforms has also increased.

Aasharam Season 3 on MX player

The first two seasons of this web series were extremely successful. The third season also got an overwhelming response and topped the viewership chart with 12.4 million views. Bobby Deol returned as Kashipur Wale Baba Nirala in the third season who gets more ambitious after helping Hukum Singh become the Chief Minister of the state. On the other hand, baba is desperate to get his hands on Pammi who has run from the Aashram whereas sub-inspector Ujagar Singh wants to expose Baba.

Koffee With Karan Season 7 on Disney Plus Hotstar

The Dharma boss came back with his famous talk show after a long gap and as expected was watched by millions. From Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu debuting on KWK to Sid and Kiara’s love affair becoming official, there are lots of takeaways from the show. And of course, Karan haters slammed the show left and right mostly for promoting Alia Bhatt in every episode one way or the other. Even then, it is the second most-watched content on Indian OTT with 12.2 million views.

Panchayat Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video

Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Neena Gupta were back with the second season of Panchayat. The first season was loved by all and even the second season was well received and became the third most-watched content on the Indian OTT with 10.9 million views.

Rudra... Edge of Darkness on Disney Plus Hotstar

Ajay Devgn debuted with this series on OTT this year and it was a successful debut. Esha Deol and Raashii Khanna also played important roles in this psychological thriller based on the ups and downs in the life of DCP Rudra Veer Pratap Singh. The series stands in the fourth spot with 10.8 million views.

Anupamaa Namaste America on Disney Plus Hotstar

Anupamaa is the number one serial in India on television. That is why its prequel Anupama Namaste America released on Disney Plus Hotstar received a stupendous response with 10.6 million views. The story throws light on the life of Anu and Vanraj from 17 years ago when the former had the chance to go to the USA but circumstances forced her to quit her dream.
