For Vijay Deverakonda things have started rolling in a big way. Yesterday the Tollywood superstar shared his click from Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar revealing how it was a top priority on his must-do list. Next, he will be teaming up with none other than the boxing legend Mike Tyson for his movie Liger.

There has been a strong buzz about the Geetha Govindam actor sharing the big screen with the international boxing legend. But now it has been confirmed that indeed Mike Tyson will feature in Liger alongside Vijay Deverakonda.

According to sources, Dharma Productions who is producing this Bollywood debut flick of the Telugu superstar approached Tyson in 2020 but the negotiations did not finalize. However, now the controversial boxer has given a nod to being a part of the sport-based movie.

As is known, the World Famous Lover fame star will portray the character of a boxer in Liger which will feature Ananya Panday as the female lead.

While the Hindi version is being bankrolled by Karan Johar, its Telugu version will be presented by Charmee Kaur and Puri Jagannadh. To ensure that he looks the part as a boxer in Liger, Vijay has not only beefed up and toned his physique but also has adopted a different hairstyle which has been widely loved by his fans.

His long curls have added more charm to his handsome face. After completing shooting for Liger, Vijay Deverakonda will next start shooting for his movie with director Koratala Siva who is at present busy wrapping his upcoming venture Acharya. According to the latest news, he will also feature in a movie directed by Sukumar who is currently busy shooting Pushpa-1 with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. Pushpa-1 will launch Sukumar as the pan India director which will be a big boon for Vijay Deverakonda.

Reportedly, Sukumar will do a project with the Dear Comrade star after wrapping up Pushpa-1 and then head on to complete the sequel for Pushpa with Allu Arjun next.
