Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi is one of the most loved characters on the SAB TV show. Talking about Amit Bhatt aka Champak Chachaji, Dilip Joshi said that unlike his serious nature on the show, in real life Amit is the most mischievous person in the entire team. According to Dilipbhai, Amit and Kavi Kumar Azad (Hathibhai) were a team when it came to playing pranks. The actor said, “Bahut mazedaar hai Amit. Maine jo last do play kiye the usme bhi woh mere saath the. Theater bhi hamne saath kiya hai.”
Dilip further said that it is true that Amit’s name for the role of Champak Chacha was recommended by him. When asked who is the most foodie among the entire team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Dilip Joshi said that Shyam bhai aka Popatlal is a big foodie but since the entire star cast eats together all of them enjoy eating different varieties of food.

He revealed that among the stars Ambikaji (Komal Bhabhi), Sonalikaji (Madhavi Bhide), and Mandarji (Bhide) are very punctual. Dilipji added, “Puri team bahut jyada disciplined aur dedicated hai. Tabhi toh 3000 se jyada episode kar paye nahi to nahi ho sakta tha.”
According to Dilipbhai one of the reasons that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is running successfully for so many years is because there are no ego clashes in between the stars and everyone is much grounded. Talking about his equation with the old Tappu (Bhavya Gandhi) and the current Tappu (Raj Anadkat), Dilipji said that he shares a good relationship with both but has very good bonding with Bhavya since the boy grew up before them.
In the upcoming episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the entire Gokuldham society members will reach Rang Tarang Resort to congratulate Popatlal, Jethalal, and the team. The Gokuldham men will plan a secret party sharty. Will they be able to have a party with the Gokuldham mahila mandal and Champak chachaji staying with them in the resort?
