Tiku Weds Sheru age gap furore: 5 Bollywood couples with big age gaps

Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur will hit the OTT platform by the end of this month. The trailer released a few days ago showed a kissing scene between the Kick actor and Avneet who has an age of 17 years between them.

It has triggered a furore on social media with many users questioning the star cast and romance between the actors with such a huge age gap. However, in Bollywood, it is normal for real-life couples to have such a huge age gap and still their married life has been very successful.

Saira Banu who debuted in Bollywood with Kashmir Ki Kali opposite Shammi Kapoor was just 22 years old when she married thespian and tragedy king Dilip Kumar who was 44 years of age.

So, in between Saira and Dilip, there was a huge age gap of 20 years, and still, they were together for more than 5 decades until the Karma actor breathed his last.

Sanjay Dutt has been married thrice in his life. While his first wife Richa died due to cancer, he divorced his second wife Rhea Pillai, and got married to Manyata in 2008. In between the two of them, there is an age gap of 19 years.

While Sanjay has a grown-up daughter Trisha from his first wife, he shares twins with Manyata and both have been together for the last 15 years.
