Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar making a comeback to Hera Pheri 3 elated everyone as once again audience will be able to witness the bone-tickling character of Raju. Now, as reported earlier, Akki will soon step into another iconic character with another sequel to his movie, also starring Suniel Shetty.
Awara Pagal Deewana 2 is one of the most talked about sequel movies of Akki. Earlier, it was reported that Akki was in talks with Firoz Nadiadwala for Hera Pheri 3, Welcome 3 and Awara Pagal Deewana 2. While Hera Pheri 3 is all set, the makers have started prepping for Awara Pagal Deewana 2 with Akki.

However, to level up the excitement among the audience, it seems, the makers have a bigger plan. As per the latest reports, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will also team up with Akki.
As reported by Pinkvilla, the ‘Munnabhai’ duo will play a crucial role in the sequel.
Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development as saying, “The idea is to make a proper multi-starrer action comedy. Awara Pagal Deewana 2 will be the biggest film in terms of scale and budget with a big star cast.”
Further, the source added, “The actors for the sequel include Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Johhny Lever, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. A couple of more names will come on board in the next two months.”
The source revealed that Awara Pagal Deewana 2 is in the pre-production stage and Ahmed Khan will direct the movie. The director is actively working on the script and is in discussions with the producer to finalise the technical crew simultaneously.
“The work is in progress to get the action director on board. Meanwhile, the shoot locations are also being finalised. Once all the aspects are on paper, Firoz will sit with the actors to get their dates which will probably be by year-end or early next year.”

Notably, Akki portrayed the character of gangster Guru Gulab Khatri while Suniel Shetty was seen as Yeda Anna with Johnny Lever as his aide Chhatri. Paresh Rawal and Aftab Shivdasani were among others in prominent roles. It can be expected that Akki, Suniel and Johnny will reprise their roles while the makers will plan some new characters for other actors.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sanju also will be seen in a major role in Hera Pheri 3.
