Mrunal Thakur, the ‘Bulbul Arora’ from popular Television drama ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ is no longer a serial actress, but a famous film actress now. Her fame is no longer limited to TV, but she is a well-known face today in the film industry, thanks to her movie choices with awesome scripts.

With back-to-back hit movies, Mrunal has established herself as one of the leading actresses in the film industry. Although she is lying low in Bollywood, she is giving tough competition to other actresses in the South.

She started with small movies like ‘Love Sonia’ and ‘Lust Stories 2’ before foraying into mainstream films. After romancing Dulquer Salmaan and Nani, the actress is all set to set the big screens on fire with none other than everyone’s favourite Vijay Deverakonda in ‘The Family Star’.

Mrunal first started with Television and then slowly moved to movies. Today, she is among the highest-paid actresses. Despite not having any godfather in the industry, she has carved a niche for herself with blockbuster movies like ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Hi Nanna’.

She is an inspiration for many young and budding actresses who have no godfather in the film industry. While she is an inspiration for many, Mrunal takes global star Priyanka Chopra as her inspiration. This was revealed by Mrunal Thakur herself.

During an interview, Mrunal said, “Priyanka Chopra is my inspiration. In my head, if Priyanka Chopra is not afraid of starting from zero, who are you Mrunal. If she can do it, you can do it too. Look I have blossomed, and I’m extremely proud. Her journey is different, my journey is different. But what matters is, we both didn’t give up.”

“Priyanka is the one who always motivated me. And oh my god the way she speaks, the way she would inspire the younger generation. I never miss her interviews. I never miss her podcasts. And I think we really need more women like her,” Mrunal added.
