The Kapil Sharma Show will resume soon on Sony Television. According to rumors, the comedy show will replace Indian Idol 12 with a new season and new format. The leading comedians of the show, including Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarti and Judge Archana Puran Singh, have been regularly sharing pictures from the sets to give a glimpse of what fans can expect in the upcoming season.

Already, it has been confirmed that the first weekend episode will feature Akshay Kumar and his Bell Bottom team whereas Ajay Devgn and his team of Bhuj: The Pride of India will be the special guests in the second episode. Kapil himself shared a few clicks from the sets recently on his Instagram related to it. While these clips have certainly given a vivid view of the new set, a recent video shared by Archana Puran Singh also saw a few fans sitting in the audience gallery.

The live audience has always been an integral part of The Kapil Sharma Show right from the start, and their responses and participation have added to make the show more entertaining and hilarious. However, the makers could not invite a live audience last season because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

While for a few episodes the actors of the show and the guests did interact with the audience through video calls, later on as the season went forward this format was also dropped. Now that the norms have been relaxed a bit, there is a strong chance that The Kapil Sharma Show may also include a live audience albeit in very small numbers.

The video clip shared by Archana shows Kapil thanking the people sitting in the audience area for coming on time. Earlier, it was rumored that Bhuri aka Sumona Chakravarti will not be a part of the show this year. Her cryptic message and absence from the promotional videos had triggered such rumors. But now the Bade Achhe Lagte Hai actress has confirmed that she is very much a part of The Kapil Sharma Show.
