Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s shooting was called off recently when two of its lead actors-Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide and Raj Anadkat aka Tappu reported being sick.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah just completed a vaccine Mahotsav and promoted how it is important to take the vaccine as a protection measure against Coronavirus. The next story of the show will focus on the upcoming Ganesh Festival.
The recent promo of the same showed that this time both Tappu and Bhide would want to organize the festival individually and this may trigger a fight between them. Bhide wants to plan the Ganesh Festival in his own ‘hamare zamane mein’ style whereas Tappu wants to do it his way.
Naturally, most of the shooting of the upcoming episodes will feature Mandar and Raj.
Now that both these actors are not well, the producer Asit Kumarr Modi had no option but to call off the shooting. While there is no update on how Raj is feeling now or when he will report back to shoot, Mandar Chandwadkar has confirmed that he was unwell.
According to Mandar, most of the scenes that the team was scheduled to shoot yesterday included his main part and since he could not report on the sets, the shooting had to be cancelled. The actor, who plays the popular character of Bhide on the show, reportedly was sick due to viral fever. But no one knows what is wrong with Raj Anadkat’s health as he is still to report it to the production team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Two characters recently made a comeback on the show after a long gap. One is Munmun Dutta aka Babitaji and the other is Rita Reporter aka Priya Ahuja. Priya was away from the show because the storyline did not include her character. However, reportedly Munmun was involved in some legal hassles after her casteist slur become a big controversy which is why she kept away from TMKOC for some time.
