Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah 2.0 or leap: Which can be a better option?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to entertain the audience all through the week at its usual timings. But now the comedy show has lost its charm as most of its major characters are slowly exiting from it simply for personal reasons or because of the exclusive contract that has been made mandatory by Asit Kumarr Modi for every actor on the show. 14 years is a long time for a show to keep on running on television and hence such things are going to happen.

But instead of offering the same old stories with the same characters, the makers can now think of pepping up the entertainment quotient either by giving a leap to the show or by coming up with TMKOC 2.0 with an entirely new star cast. A leap will be an interesting idea that can show the Tappu sena all grown up and trying for good employment. The focus can also be on their romance and dating life. While it is expected that Tappu and Sonu will marry one day, more twists can be added to it with Bhide making things difficult for Tappu and the Gada family.

From Popatlal happily married to Babitaji and Anjali bhabhi having kids, there are so many things that can be introduced in the leap which can add more entertainment to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Coming to TMKOC 2.0, the producers can introduce all new characters and continue with the basic concept of the show the way other television serials like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 are doing. It is also possible to retain a few old prominent characters and introduce all new actors for different roles so that there is freshness in the story and fans continue to shower love on TMKOC the way they had done earlier.

With no signs of Disha Vakani, Shailesh Lodha, or other actors returning to the show, such changes are the need of the hour if the show makers are really interested in offering something unique to the audience.
