A video showing a drunk Sunny Deol wandering on the Juhu streets of Mumbai surfaced on the web today and it shook the internet a bit. Known for being a teetotaller, the Gadar 2 actor looked completely drunk with no knowledge of what was happening around him. The clip shows an auto-rickshaw driver humbly making him sit inside his auto and drive him away.

All sorts of reactions started pouring in with many netizens lambasting Sunny Deol for being so drunk. However, now the truth has come out. The real reason behind the senior Deol’s unstable and wobbly manner is that he was shooting for his upcoming movie Safar.

The drunk version is a part of the movie currently being shot in Bollywood’s capital. While it is a known fact that Deols are known as heavy drinkers, Sunny Deol is an exception. He has repeatedly in his interviews stated that he does not drink alcohol and even often wonders how people can drink heavily.

On the other hand, his father Dharmendra Deol is very fond of drinking and he has always openly accepted his love for drinks. Even Sunny’s brother Bobby Deol during a few interviews stated that he had taken to heavy drinking during his bad phase when he was not getting work in the film industry. However, now he is back with a bang with Animal which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead and is already a big blockbuster.

Importantly, the hard-core physique of the Gupt actor has been earned with a lot of effort. Revealing the same, Bobby said that he gave up sweets and a lot of his favourite foods for four months to get that well-toned physique. It seems the year 2023 has been full of blessings for the Deol clan as Dharmendra returned to the big screen after a huge gap with Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
