In a rare moment, Bollywood action star Sunny Deol, who is currently riding high on the success of ‘Gadar 2’ showed his emotional side at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

Sunny, who was on the stage with directors Rajkumar Santoshi, Anil Sharma and Rahul Rawail broke down after a comment from Santoshi in his support. The video of the ‘Big Brother’ actor crying on the stage has now taken social media by storm.

The video starts with Sunny taking the stage with the three directors for a masterclass in filmmaking. During the session, Rajkumar Santoshi who has directed blockbuster movies like Ghayal, Ghatak and Damini with Sunny said that the Hindi film industry has not been fair to Sunny and has not done justice to his talent.

This leaves Sunny teary-eyed as he tries hard to wipe off his tears. He sits idle with the mic in his hand for a while and says, “I’m just too emotional. It’s no problem.” The audience then quickly gives him a round of applause at the candour.

Directors Rahul Rawail who has directed Sunny in Arjun and Betaab and Anil Sharma who has directed the actor in Gadar and Apne also heaped praises on Sunny Deol.

Worth mentioning, Sunny Deol who was the star of the 90s, has delivered his first solo hit in over 20 years in the form of ‘Gadar 2’. The film has grossed over Rs 600 crore worldwide and has become Sunny’s highest-grossing film.

It is the second highest-grossing Bollywood film in India after superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
