SSMB29: SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra gearing up for next schedule in Africa!

SS Rajamouli's upcoming globetrotting action-adventure SSMB29 (working title) has been generating significant hype, since the announcement. Though an official announcement is to be made, Rajamouli has already filmed some major sequences in Hyderabad and Koraput (Odisha) with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Now, the team is gearing up for its third schedule after a summer break. Amid this, a fresh report suggests that the team is gearing up for the next schedule in Africa.

SSMB29 Shooting To Resume in Africa?

According to the latest reports, Rajamouli and his team are all set to resume the next schedule of SSMB29. Reportedly, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra will head to Kenya and resume shooting in July. If the reports are anything to go by, this will be SSMB29's first international schedule. 

A close source to the unit revealed that the entire team will travel to East Africa in July for a crucial phase of filming. Further, the source added that the schedule features intense action sequences in wild and dense forests of Africa.

Notably, East Africa is known for its iconic landscapes and abundant wildlife. The exotic locations in Africa are expected to bring a fresh and immersive backdrop to the narrative.

According to the source, the team had scouted for exotic locations in Africa last year, particularly in Kenya's national park.

The Filmfare's report quoted the source as saying, "The Kenyan schedule was originally scheduled to commence in March this year. But, it had to be postponed due to the extreme summer heat surrounding the African province. But with the weather conditions more suitable now, a new schedule has been planned next month."

However, fans need to wait for further updates as recently, reports were abuzz that Rajamouli would commence SSMB29's third schedule in Hyderabad with Mahesh Babu in June.
