SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are currently busy working on their yet-untitled movie. The addition of Priyanka Chopra Jonas to the star cast has further enhanced the excitement for this film. Undoubtedly, it will be exciting to see PeeCee back on the Indian screen after such a long time.

With her international stature, she might as well give this flick an edge on the global platform. And it can be one of the reasons why the RRR director chose her for his upcoming project instead of the current actresses active in the Indian film industry.

Although Anushka Shetty featured on both the instalments of Baahubali and had a pivotal role the movie rested more on the shoulders of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. Ditto with RRR in which Alia Bhatt had a very small role.

Similarly, Mahesh Babu is the male lead of this upcoming film, Rajamouli had given him the maximum space whereas there was limited scope for a female lead. But that was when the team was undecided about who would be playing the female lead. Now that Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been roped in to play the part, Rajamouli has decided to make changes to the script.

There is a strong buzz currently that the famous Tollywood director has decided to make changes in the script so that Bollywood’s Desi girl gets to play a role that matches her international stature. And that can also do wonders for the movie because Priyanka Chopra Jonas continues to have a good following even in Bollywood.

Incidentally, the Bajirao Mastani actress started her career in Indian cinema with a Tamil movie alongside Thalapathy Vijay with Thamizhan. Coincidentally, she is making a comeback to the Indian film industry with a South Indian movie.
