While both the Shetty sisters are trying to fight their battles in a dignified way individually, there was a time when Shilpa and Shamita fought with each other.

Shamita is fairer than Shilpa which is why the latter always felt insecure of the Mohabattein actress. Shilpa even used to trouble her younger sister in sleep by pinching her and Shamita then used to wake up crying.

Recalling many such incidences Shilpa revealed earlier during an interview that she had once locked Shamita in the cupboard and when finally their father opened it Shamita was like 'Chandalini'.

When Shamita made her debut with YRF’s movie, Shilpa thought that it will affect her career as her younger sister looked much better than her. That was the time when the Dhadkan actress became extremely insecure about her sister.

Deepak Tijori who roped in both Shamita and Shilpa for Fareb shared an incident of a fight between these two actresses. According to the Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar actor, during the making of Fareb, he expected Shilpa and Shamita to share their wardrobe at one point in time. But Shilpa simply denied and said that she cannot do so. It left Deepak shocked, but considering it a good stand from the perspective of professionalism he went ahead with the demands of both the actresses.

As of now, these fights and insecurities between these two sisters are a thing of the past with both of them standing by each other during their tough times.
