Shark Tank India 3 started on Sony Television this week. The pitches and new entrepreneurs have been creating waves making this season very much interesting. Last year the controversial BharatPe’s Ashneer Grover was dropped and CarDekho’s Amit Aggrawal was introduced as the new shark on the show.

This year too, there are a few new introductions in the list of sharks who will be investing in the businesses of the participants.

Shark Tank India 3: New sharks added

This year the sharks who were a part of Shark Tank India 2 will continue to be part of season 3. However, new sharks have also been added to open better opportunities for budding entrepreneurs in the country. Last year, Aman Gupta, Co-Founder of BoAT,  Anupam Mittal, CEO and Founder of Shaadi.com,  Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics,  Namita Thapar: Executive Director (ED) of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Amit Jain: CEO and Co-Founder of CarDekho and Peyush Bansal: CEO and Co-Founder of Lenskart were the six sharks who invested in some happening businesses.

Apart from all these sharks, Shark Tank India 3 will also have new sharks including Deepinder Goyal: CEO and Co-Founder of Zomato, Ritesh Agarwal: CEO and Founder of OYO Rooms, Radhika Gupta: CEO and MD of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Azhar Iqubal: CEO and Co-Founder of Inshorts, Ronnie Screwvala: Chairperson and Co-Founder of UpGrad and, Varun Dua: CEO and Founder of ACKO.

All the sharks on the show are very experienced and have full knowledge of the nitty-gritty of the business. That is why business tips from such people can be extremely helpful for aspiring business people and entrepreneurs.

According to Peyush Bansal, “As a budding entrepreneur, one should focus on value creation more than anything else.” Aman Gupta says, “Believing in yourself and your idea is paramount to building a successful business.”

The CEO and co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics Vineeta Singh says, “Going back to square one shouldn’t be a demotivating factor. Instead, you can always go back to creating something else.”
