Kartik Aryan is the current heartthrob of Indian cinema. Like all the other young actors he has been involved in a series of affairs in the last few years which are quite normal. What is shocking though is that in the span of fewer than three years he dated three Bollywood actresses with an illustrious filmi background. Importantly all his rumoured affairs and flings with these actresses were short-lived. On the contrary, break up with one of these actresses even made him lose one big-budget movie and closed the doors of the Dharma Productions for him.
Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan were signed by Dharma Productions for the sequel of their hit movie Dostana. Both Karan and Kartik were quite elated with this new venture and everyone hoped that something interesting will come up from their union. At the same time rumours about Janhvi and Kartik dating each other started surfacing. However, within a few weeks, the gossip mills started churning that the rumoured couple has parted ways after they had a fight during their secret vacation.
Importantly, their quick breakup affected Kartik’s equation with Dharma Productions, and immediately after this breakup, Karan Johar announced that the Luka Chuppi actor is no more a part of Dostana 2 and that his production house will never want to work with him again.

Before Janhvi, it was rumored that Kartik was involved with Ananya Panday. The two were spotted enjoying each other’s company on the streets of Lucknow during the shooting of Pati Patni Aur Woh. But the rumours died after the movie was released.
Kartik’s affair with Sara Ali Khan was one of his most talked-about relationships. From Sara naming him as her crush on Koffee with Karan to both of them working together in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal, the entire journey of their affair received a lot of attention. Fans of these two stars were also very happy to see them together both on-screen and in personal life and kept on shipping Sartik.
But somewhere before the promotions of the movie things soured between Sara and Kartik and the two requested the paparazzi to stop clicking them together. Although Sara and Kartik did their best to promote Love Aaj Kal despite the breakup, it bombed at the box office.
