‘Difficult to chit-chat and be friendly'-Sanam Teri Kasam's Harshvardhan Rane recalls painful moments during shooting

Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane’s Sanam Teri Kasam is enjoying a stupendous run at the box office on its re-release 9 years later. While when it was released the movie failed to do much business, it seems if the current level of response continues it can well emerge as a hit. Naturally, both the lead stars of the movie have come into the limelight. Mawra Hocane has just got married to her Pakistani co-actor Ameer Gilani in Lahore.

Harshvardhan Rane on the other hand is enjoying the bliss of his current success. He even visited the theatre and surprised his fans who were overwhelmed to see him in person. Recently during a video call, the actor who has also worked on other good projects like Savi, Taish, Paltan, and others shared his views on his co-star Mawra Hocane and her recent marriage.

Harshvardhan said, “I feel what better gift there will be by God’s blessings if she gets to know that a film she has done is doing commercially so well. I think that will be the best wedding gift.”

When asked whether the two are in touch with each other, the actor said, “Initially as I told you honestly, the initial part (of Sanam Teri Kasam) was so painful for the director, producer, and actors that you know when you are in pain… I think I won’t speak about anyone but talking about myself like when I am in pain obviously like all human beings I like to be with myself.”

“So we all were going through all that even the directors, producers. We all were going through all that and then it is difficult to chit-chat and be friendly,” he added. Nonetheless, rumours circulated that Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane were having a fling together when the film was released but it seems those were just rumours as all the gossip died down soon.
